THE BERGZUHAUS
The Bergzuhaus Gemsli is an old Walser house with a mountain gastro tradition since 1930. It was renovated and converted in 2010 and 2019. The Bergzuhaus is nestled in the hamlet of Schlappin with a wonderful view in and out of the valley.
The Gemsli is a small but fine mountain inn with a rustic dining room that can accommodate up to 35 people. Our spacious sun terrace can be enjoyed but is also useful for outdoor work, yoga, etc. The pretty house consists of eight individual and lovingly designed rooms. The seminar room in the attic (which can also be used as a banquet room) can be used by up to 20 people.
Enjoy our new sauna and relax in the rest room with a wonderful view of our nature.
The true luxury can be felt in the simplicity and tranquility of nature. Releasing, taking a deep breath, recharging batteries – all of this is possible with us.
As owner and host of the Gemsli, Rudolf Wötzel can not only tell you his own story,
but also steer your story in new directions with you.

In consultation with our catering team, we will put together a menu that suits you and would be happy to make you some suggestions.
Regional dishes with fresh products and a selection of fine wines characterize the culinary offer. Above all, we want to fulfill your wishes and stand for personal care, warm service and creative, fresh cuisine. SCHLAPPIN
Schlappin is a hamlet of Klosters-Serneus situated at about 1,600 m.a.s.l. behind a small reservoir, which was inhabited all year round until the 17th century.
The settlement consists of a few maiensäss, stables and another restaurant.
The hamlet is hardly inhabited all year round.
In summer Schlappin is a popular hiking region around the national border with Austria, which has something to offer for every taste and different requirements.
In winter, the valley run of the Madrisa snow sports area passes through Schlappin and breathes life into the pretty hamlet. Outside the operating hours of the mountain railroads, however, only a few souls stray into Schlappin during the dark season.
